Ravalli Electric Co-op (REC), headquartered in Victor, MT is nestled between the stunning Sapphire mountain range to our east and the beautiful Bitterroot mountain range to our west. The Bitterroot Valley offers unsurpassed beauty all along our 96-mile stretch from north to south that follows the majestic Bitterroot River. Our rich cultural and historical heritage is only equal to our worldwide reputation for hunting, fishing, hiking, boating and rafting, skiing and a wide variety of other incredible outdoor activities.<\/p>\n
REC was incorporated in 1936, and currently provides electric service to nearly 9,000 members in Ravalli County. We distribute electric energy from 7 substations through 1,295 miles of overhead and underground distribution lines, and we work everyday to provide our membership with reliable service, affordable electricity rates, and excellent member service.<\/p>\n
